NIH R16 Awarded to the Keppetipola Lab
NIH has awarded Dr. Niroshika Keppetipola an R16 award, funding the research lab for more years to come. Here is to more exciting research discoveries!
Edrin Astillero SCCUR Poster Presentation
Edrin, a core member of the Keppetipola Lab, has presented his work at SCCUR, the annual Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research. He presented his research on "Discrete phosphorylation affects the subcellular localization of a neuron specific splicing factor". Congratulations to Edrin!
John Baker's Thesis Defense
Graduate student John Baker presented his Masters thesis on Determining the Role of Phosphorylation in RNA Binding Protein Function. He successfully defended his thesis and has officially graduated with his Masters degree. Thank you for all of your hard work John!
